The inauguration of Dr. Amy Gutmann as the new president of the University of Pennsylvania was a major event that Penn wanted to share with a large audience, on and off campus. Key concerns included providing superior quality and being as unobtrusive as possible during the live, formal event.
FMP provided live video coverage to feed television monitors on the University closed circuit system, as well as to a worldwide audience via webcasting over the internet. FMP worked with the university staff to plan a successful production that would achieve the goals set forth. Key features included production planning, on-site producer-director, video production crew supporting three live switched cameras and complex audio.
The recording and webcasting of the inauguration of Dr. Gutmann was a successful endeavor. FMP filmed and deployed via the web a high-quality video without any obstruction during the event.
